Gerlinde A.S. Metz

Gerlinde A.S. Metz received her PhD in 1999 from the ETH Zurich and habilitated in Medicine at the University of Jena. She is a Professor of Neuroscience and Tier 1 Board of Governors Research Chair at the Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience, University of Lethbridge. Her research program focuses on the influence of experience and environment on behaviour and brain plasticity, as well as transgenerational programming of health and disease. During her stay she will collaborate with members of the Center for Mind, Brain and Cognitive Evolution and the Department of Philosophy.
