Abstract:	The study deals with diseases that necessitate the annulation of marriage . It defines disease from the Islamic viewpoint and lists different diseases that 1) affect both spouses, such as insaneness, leprosy, bad breath, sterility, mutilation, 2) affect the husband, such as impotence, and 3) affect the wife. It has a look at concealment of diseases and the effects on the marriage contract and cites different fuqahāʾ. Furthermore it mentions conditions to speak of diseases that necessitate the annulation of marriage.
