the viewpoint of šarīʿa. It names reasons for contraception according to
šarīʿa and describes two ways of coitus interruptus. The first part of the
study includes 24 aḥādīṯ concerning contraception. The second part lists
different contraceptives and splits it into 7 parts such as “contraceptive
for women to be taken”, for men, different methods like vinegar or
enchantment and modern methods like the contraceptive pill and gives a
