Learning the basics of Materials Science at RUB
Our Chair is an intrinsic part of the teaching of Materials Science at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. We provide the basic lectures on materials for engineers and scientists. We design and deliver the lectures aimed at students in the materials engineering programs at both the bachelor and masters levels in materials engineering. We also teach students who have chosen other career paths in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and we provide lectures for students from natural science programs (physics, chemistry and geo sciences). We also contribute to the English master course Materials Science and Simulation and to the post doctoral course program of the International Max Planck Research School, SurMat.
