Integration in Educational Environment at RUB
Our chair for materials science supports material education at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. We offer basic material classes for the natural and engineering sciences. Specifically, we offer lectures for the bachelor and masterprograms of the career paths Materials Engineering and Microtechnology and Materials Science. We also offer special courses for other programs, for example in the mechanical engineering department for Environmental Engineering (UTRM) and for Sales Engineering and Project Management (SEPM) and for students from the natural sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Geo Sciences). We also contribute to the master program Materials Science and Simulation and to the curriculum of the International Max Planck Research School SurMat. Our undergraduate and graduate students and our international guest students have free access to all our courses.
